Peak View is a behavioral health hospital committed to providing quality treatment and psychiatric care to adults 55 years and older. Our team of professional serves individuals and their families in a comfortable environment. The hospital is licensed by the State of Colorado and is Joint Commissioned Accredited.

 

Our hospital is open for admissions seven days a week, 24 hours per day. Assessments are conducted by our clinicians free of charge. Please call 719.444.8484 for help or more information.

INPATIENT PROGRAMMan Comforting Wife

The Inpatient Program helps individuals struggling with behavioral health challenges which may post a risk to their safety or the safety of others. This program typically includes a less than two week stay with daily visitor times.

 

Symptoms treated include:

  • Onset of hallucinations, delusions or paranoia
  • Potential danger to oneself of others
  • Suicidal/homicidal thoughts or attempts
  • Medication challenges
  • Change in ability to attend daily activities

 

INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM

The Intensive Outpatient Program helps individuals struggling with behavioral health challenges who would benefit a structured day program. This program meets four times a week for six weeks with complimentary transportation and a light meal.

From the South

From I-25 North take Woodmen Road exit go east to Academy. Turn right and go approx. 2 miles south to University Park Blvd. Turn right and go 100 yards to Peak View Behavioral Health.


From the North

From I-25 South take Garden of the Gods exit and go east approx. 2.5 miles on Austin Bluffs to Union. Take Union north to Academy taking a left on Academy for approx. ¼ mile to University Park Blvd. Turn left and go 100 yards to Peak View Behavioral Health.
