Overview

Peak View Behavioral Health is a 24 bed Acute Geriatric Psychiatric Hospital specifically designed for senior services.

We are focusing on providing exceptional treatment and support to seniors and their families through an inter-disciplinary team approach.


Peak View is located in Colorado Springs, CO and is JCAHO accredited.

Peak View was developed in order to better serve the needs of seniors ages 55+ with psychiatric disorders.

Admission Criteria

  • Males and Females
  • 55+ years of age upon Admission
  • Cognitive impairments
  • DSM IV Diagnosis

Referral Symptoms

  • Sudden onset of hallucinations, delusions or paranoia
  • Noncompliance with prescribed meds
  • Potential danger to self or others
  • Sudden change in ability to attend to daily activities

Directions to Peak View

From the South

From I-25 North take Woodmen Road exit go east to Academy. Turn right and go approx. 2 miles south to University Park Blvd. Turn right and go 100 yards to Peak View Behavioral Health.


From the North

From I-25 South take Garden of the Gods exit and go east approx. 2.5 miles on Austin Bluffs to Union. Take Union north to Academy taking a left on Academy for approx. ¼ mile to University Park Blvd. Turn left and go 100 yards to Peak View Behavioral Health.
